Dear Ian:

Thank you for sharing your dinner with me tonight. I loved the cheese you offered but I really wanted the turkey I heard you were trying out tonight. Please also stop being such a clean eater.

Love,

Frisbee

Eight Months!

Ah yes, I remember this time with Audrey. My complete failures at getting these monthly birthday pictures. Exhausting! Audrey really tries to help me out - and even suggested giving Ian his Sophie giraffe to try to get him to sit still. It worked very briefly, and at least no one was injured during the photo shoot.

Ian has been busy, busy, busy! After a viral infection that gave me quite a scare with him spiking a high fever, he decided the next day to start crawling. No more army crawling for Ian. He's constantly pulling to a stand and getting into all kinds of trouble. He's crawling up a few stairs, at least until Eric or I can run over to gate the staircase. He continues to sign 'more' and now says it as well, and says 'mama' many times a day. He just recently added 'dada' to the mix as well. No doubt 'Audrey' will be added to his list soon given his love for his big sister. Just completely lights up when she is around. Ian loves all food offered, including blueberries, bananas, puffs, oatmeal, peas, squash, sweet potatoes, and pumpkin, but turns his nose up at avocado. We'll be starting lunch and meat within the next week or so. He also loves to wave and has just started clapping - forgot how cute these gestures are!

We just love him to pieces!

1st Valentine's Day

Ian had a great first Valentine's Day, hanging out with his two favorite girls. He got his second haircut, compliments of mom, and he holds still like such a champ (wish he would for diaper and clothes changes, too!). He also got to spend time snacking on his favorite food - cheese. He now SAYS "More" when he knows cheese is close by!
